I'm Fun

I have been intending to make this post for a while. I mentioned all of the fun things that Peter did with the kids while I was in Wisconsin and I want record made of the fun that Brigham, Martie, and I had while Peter, Julia, and Porter were in Lake Powell.

Wednesday, August 26th they left for Powell and Brigham and I had Pizza for dinner. We did frozen pizza so we each got our own and he thought that was cool.

Thursday, we went to play group at Backyard Adventures with some moms and friends in the ward.

Later that evening we went up to my mom and dad's condo to go swimming and celebrate Grandpa's birthday. Brigham had a great time swimming with his cousins.

Friday we went camping with Summer, Mason, Alora and Abbey. I was pretty impressed that we both made it without our husbands but it was a blast. Summer slept in a tent with the kids, and I slept in the van with Martie. It turned out to be a good thing because the van muffled Martie's screaming that went on all night. Just so you aren't too impressed, I should mention that it was a ward camp out where they fixed us breakfast and we had flushing toilets. :)

OK, I guess this was a shorter post than I thought it would be but we did stay busy and we did have fun.

And for those of you who want to see how much fun Peter had in Lake Powell with Julia, Bugs, and a bunch of Peter's family, there are some pictures below. It is hard to compete with Lake Powell.

BTW, if you are wondering, yes, that is my little Julia up on skis. She did it a bit last year and a bit this year. She is getting better slowly but surely.
