Raging Waters

Ok, so we had never been before, and when someone told us how we could get tickets for $6 a piece, we decided to take the family to Raging Waters. And while we were at it, we decided to rope Summer, Dennis, Mason, Alora, Abbey, and Kyra into going with us. While it was pretty stinking run down (the bathroom stall I went in was held together by a piece of a wire coat hanger, and you didn't want to look at any of the grout or the stuff growing where the grout should be) it was pretty fun.

This first picture is of Martie lounging on the blanket contemplating eating the leaf that may/may not be better than the milk mom tries to feed her.
The pictures to the left are of Peter on the rope swing (he decided he was brave enough after he saw Julia do it), Me, Summer, Porter, Abbey, Kyra, and Martie on the tube in the lazy river (no it didn't sink), Peter trying to make people think he was just a floating body, and my favorite, Porter on Peter's shoulders. I love it when Peter carries the kids on his shoulders because in order to keep them from putting their hands under his chin and strangling him or pulling his hair out, he tells them to hold onto their own head. This way, they have something to feel secure holding onto, and Peter can still breathe. I admit, they aren't the brightest kids in the world but we already knew that right?
These pictures are of Brigham, and Peter going down the steep sled/slide thing, Julia going off the rope swing to show us how it is done, and Peter on the roller coaster where you literally go down, back up, and then back down. It was pretty cool to watch.
I think Julia liked the rope swing the best, she didn't do too many slides but she did love swinging and dropping into the water.
Brigham was the most brave. He was up for every slide every time. He had no fear and a great time.
This last set of pictures is of the little ones. Summer and I took Martie, Porter, Abbey, and Kyra in the wave pool. They all seemed to enjoy it.
I also took a picture of Porter giving me a dandelion as he spent a good portion of time finding "flowers" and saying, "I have some teen fo' you mommy." It was pretty cute. He's a lady's man.
