Well, I think this is silly but since everything else I do is silly, I'm kind of excited to play. And, secretly I am flattered that someone would think to "tag" me. So, I have been tagged twice now. Once by Shauna, and once by Leshel. Oh I'm feeling popular! Anyway the rules are as follows:
Rules:
1. Link to the person that tagged you2. Post the rules on your blog
3. Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself
4. Tag six random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs.
5. Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
My six things are also as follows:
1 I hate it when people have a "yard sell" or have something they want to "sale." I see it all the time on KSL and it just bothers me. I think it is because it isn't a matter of knowing anything but thinking about how it is said. My biggest laugh came when I was driving down the road to pick up Julia and not only did the man in front of me have his truck "for sell" but when he wrote it on his back window with shoe polish, he didn't realize that you have to read it backwards. So not only did it say "for sell" but you had to read it from left to right. It just floored me. I wish I would have had a camera to take a picture because I kept thinking nobody is going to believe this.
2 I crave bottled peaches. Peter is frustrated because he thinks I am going to eat all 40 something bottles that we did before we even make it to Thanksgiving. All I can tell him is that it is better than a Butterfinger, which actually sounds really good right now as well.
3 I have a bad habbit of pulling my toenails off my toes. This makes them bleed all over and I end up wrapping them in large strips of toilet paper until it stops. Then they hurt because they get infected and I still do it. This also means that I can't ever get a pedicure which I almost feel bad about but then I realize it is one more way to save money.
I'm getting stumped because I talk a lot and most people know everything about me because I don't ever stop.
4 Secretly, I hate running. I do it just so that I can talk. I started running with my dad and he was constantly amazed at how much I could talk. Then I ran with the Olsens, Sue Tapp and Sherise Burt, Shannon Higgins, Leshel Gotberg, Peter, and Shauna Eccles for a bit. I love to run with people because they have no reason to tell me to be quiet. It's not like they need to hear their footsteps or anything. I like to hear their stories as well. Especialy when we are going up a hill and I need to take my mind off something.
5 I wish I could sing. I love to but I sound horrid. In Young Womens, they told me that if I wanted I could just mouth the words. Even now if Porter sits on my lap during sacrament and I start singing the hymns he will shout "top" and put his hand over my mouth. I think I am like the story about G.F. Handel in the Forgotten Carols. He really wants to sing with the angels announcing the birth of the Savior but he just doesn't have a good voice and he feels so bad. So, when he comes to earth, he writes the Messiah and itis his chance to tell people how much he loves music and the Savior. So, I am like him except I didn't die long ago, I'm not a man, and I can't write music.
6 Lastly, I try to be a nice person. People view me as the one who is mean, honest, blunt, sarcastic, etc. but it's kind of sad because I'm not trying to be that way. I am actually trying to be nice. It's like Anne in Anne of Gren Gables when she says, "If you knew how many thoughts came into my head that I don't say, you would be surprised at just how little I do say." This IS the nice version of me. I'm trying anyway, I'm just not very good at it yet.
Wow. Don't worry if you didn't learn anything about me because I think I did. Oh, and now I get to tag six people. I tag, Bonnie, Lynne, Wendi, Amy, Cristi, and, Julia.

Just so you know--when I think of you I think of a nice person.
You're so funny! Just the other day I was passing out a flier at Pier 1 that said "Sail Items" now that is awful. I totally get bugged by stuff like that too.
I loved reading your tag. I'm also happy you are willing to run with me even when you have toe surgery for pulling off your toenails. That sounds like someone who really does like running or a very nice person who doesn't want to let a friend down. By the way, I miss running with you.
This is so funny, I love your #6 quote by Anne Gables. I think it runs with Gemini's. You are truely a great friend to everyone and a nice person.
i so wish we were running together right now. i'd love to get in on those stories.
