June 11th GIRLS CAMP

I had been trying to work my way into girls camp for a while and they finally found something for me to do.  Since we have a trailer I got to haul the gear up for them and spend the day.  It was awesome.  I can't believe how much Julia has grown up.  When they asked for a prayer, even though she is still 11 and hasn't been to any activities besides camp prep, she was the first to volunteer.  She is so outgoing and ready to make new friends with all the girls.

They did some awesome crafts making Journals and bags with duct tape.  The bags were used as mail boxes where the girls could send notes back and forth to each other.

She had such great leaders up there.  Sister Coombs, Sister McMurdie, Sister Spoerri, Me :), Sister Tullis, and Sister Meecham.  Great examples.
