Peter was home today so I decided to take some time to go to the temple. I had a great session but felt the whole time that something wasn't right at home. I was right. When I got home, I saw exactly what it was. While Peter had been working in the basement, the girls got out the acrylic paint and hand stamped 5-6 hand towels. Then they hand stamped the wall. Then they went in my bathroom got out lipstick and covered their faces, hair, carpet, and clothes. We later found out that they had more paint in the piano room and had gotten it all over the table. Fortunately, for us and them, I was rather calm because I was just happy to see them alive and know that the feeling of something being wrong wasn't that they weren't OK. The pictures aren't the best because I had to take them without the girls noticing. I din't want them to think I was taking pictures because I was proud of their work! ;)To take a break from scrubbing we took everyone up to Red Butte Gardens where we had a beautiful walk. Loving our pass there.
And one last photo for the day; this is the art project Porter brought home from school. It went with their saying for the week, "a fish out water."
