Today was not the greatest day. It started out with Brigham and I going running but since I had gone a mere 11 hours before, I was beat. And I didn't have much energy for anything, except to think about eating. :) I had a craving for corn chowder (I recently found a great recipe). The problem was that I didn't have the motivation to fix it. Thankfully, the missionaries stopped by and gave me motivation. They stopped by a few weeks ago after I had finished bread and they asked for some. I tried to send it with them but they were on their bikes and it was raining so they said they would come back for it. Unfortunately, they didn't come back until days later when it was all gone. And then they kept coming back; every couple of days since. I realized that if I was going to stop the constant visits I had better bake them some bread. So I had it; motivation to fix bread and corn chowder; my favorite dinner! YUMMMY!
After dinner I went and did some visits and when I came home we got a surprise. The Beehives in the ward did this

to our door. They wrote notes about how they were lucky they were going to get to have Julia in YW soon. Needless to say; it made her night.

And these are the treats they left for her.
