Sunday Smiles After a Long Break (but a day early)

Crikey!
It has been over a month since I have posted. A lot has happened and I have lots of smiles to share.

February 9th our ward had a service auction which was beyond fun. That is always one of my favorite activities because it just seems like everyone lets loose, we have lots of laughs, you go home with something fun, and you get to serve other people you love. They did a great job and I hope we get to do it again next year.

I also had lots of smiles when I went visiting teaching with Shauna. Anyone who knows me knows that I adore Shauna. Peter said that the reason they partnered her with me is because she is the one person that I wouldn't say no to. Anyway, it was great to visit with Sisters Peterson, Dutton, and Davis. They are great ladies and I am really starting to look forward to doing my visiting teaching.

February also should have included book group but Porter and I got sick. WAY SICK. We ended up at the doctor's office where we found out that we both had Strep. This makes it as a smile because it was something that can be "fixed" so easily. There are so many people we know that have so many illnesses that can't be "fixed." I am so happy that we have our health.

Peter and I smiled when we went to the Stake Dinner Dance and Amanda babysat for us. The dinner was fun but the games with the Eccles, Perry's, Gordon's, and the Jorgenson's. We have the BEST ward.
Happy day with lots of smiles when Peter brought my iPhone. I didn't get the phone service but I got the phone so that I would have the camera. I play with it constantly; and so do all of the kids. We have a few kids’ games on it that Julia, Brigham, and Porter play. Martie loves the music and she likes to eat the phone while she dances. I play on it constantly and Peter is the only one who won’t touch it. He is so against Itunes and afraid that it will take over his music collection it is fun to tease him. It was a great purchase.  Here are a few pictures we have already taken.

Another smile came when a friend of mine called and let me join her when she peed on a stick. It was the craziest funniest thing I have done. While things didn't come out "positive," I'm still glad they wanted me to be a part of it.

My greatest smiles came from my sister. Lisa has Thursday's and Friday's off so we were able to spend time on a Thursday and a Friday together. We went to lunch, chatted, and ran carpool, nothing special, but it was a blast. I couldn't believe how much fun it was and I can't wait to do it again.

I smiled when I got my cookies from the Girl Scouts. I was disappointed to see my loved Samoas were two points a piece but I saved some points so I have been able to eat five for dinner.

I also smiled when the kids had me come outside and I saw this smiling back at me.

I love your new picture at the top of your blog - so cute! Sounds like you have been having fun and keeping busy. Sorry you were sick - that is no fun at all! I certainly appreciate my health more when I am sick!
