Lagoon
Last Friday we went to Lagoon with Xlear. We go every year and it is a ton of fun. This time we went with Nathan, his friend Mike, and his son Johnathan. Brigham rode up with Nathan, Mike and Johnathan. Apparently on the way, Nathan was explaining to Mike that we like on a pretty strict budget (everyone does in comparison to Nathan but that is another story) and he asked Brigham if we eat a lot of beans and rice to which Brigham replied, "No, we pretty much just eat rice and beans at our house." Don't go feeling too bad for our kids, it is actually Brigham and Porter's favorite dinner.
Anyway, when we got to Lagoon we met up with Elizabeth, Michelle, Jessie, Joe, and some other work people. We also eventually met up with Linda as well. Linda took the girls to her house for multiple tea parties, a sleepover, and breakfast at IHOP. They had an awesome time. Meanwhile, Peter's coworker invited us to see Harry Potter. The girls in the ward were at Young Women Camp and we couldn't find anyone to watch the boys so they went and spent the night with Uncle Nathan. They were spoiled as well. They went for rides in his topless Jeep, ate a Kid's Meal, and went to the store and, as Brigham explained, "Nathan bought toys for kids to play with at his house with his OWN money." They had a great time and it goes without saying that we enjoyed the night off as well.
Oh, when you look at the pictures, check out the cool hair do I found for Julia on the Internet! I also like the picture of Brigham holding Porter's hand on the dinosaur drop. If you watch close, you can catch him being so sweet and loving. And when you see the one of Porter crying on the bumper cars, I just want you to know that we didn't torture him. He wanted to ride it. And when Peter went to get him out, he started crying saying he wanted to do it again. I also love the picture of Brigham with me on the White Roller Coaster. That is a big ride and though he was a full two inches too short, they let us on anyway. I took pictures during the ride since it has been a tradition since Peter started it before we even had kids. He loved it and I loved taking him. He may be my new rider buddy!

Julia's hair looks great, I'm way impressed! It looks like you guys had so much fun at lagoon! Also, there is nothing wrong with rice and beans. Although Reid does think that we can invite people over for dinner for rice and beans and I think that is going a little too far! Anyways, it looks like a fun weekend!
I called you 4 times and you ignored me. I wanted you to drop the boys off at our house. I guess it turned out OK cuz I wouldn't have fed them. We don't eat beans cuz they make the boys fart.
and julias hair is real cute...is it clean yet?
(oh is that tmi? shoudl I not ask that over the internets?)
love Julia's hair. it's a good thing i don't have girls, I'd mess that up.
Beans and rice, rice and beans!! YUM
So much fun! We just took Lucas for his first time a few weeks ago and he loved it too.
