I have a new system. I love new systems. Just thinking about coming up with a new system makes me happy because no matter how many I try, I am convinced that this will be the one that will change my life and suddenly make my hair look good, my house stay clean, or my children obey. Well, this new system is for my kids. If you know me, you know I am cheap (no comments on that are needed Treasure). So, hating to pay full price, or even 1/2 price for ANYTHING, I just buy fabric at the fabric store, tell myself I will hem it even though I know I never will, and use it as a table cloth. Well, this where the new system comes in. Julia, Brigham and Porter each have their own tablecloth, and if they set the table they get to pick which one to use. It is awesome. They now love to set the table! Porter's has "Pooh a Pooh" aka Winnie the Pooh, Brigham’s is camouflage, and Julia's is floral. I realize that it won't last forever but at least it is creating some fun at our house right now.

Wow...you know what would cost even less? No table cloth at all! Then you can just threaten the kids that if they choose not to set the table then they choose not to partake in the bounty. I think we learned this in kindergarten with the story of the "Little Red Hen".
love the cute tablecloths! love the idea but I'm too tired to even think about implementing a system. no, that's a lie our current system is survival of the fittest. I'm hoping to win out.
LOVE IT!!! Maybe I'll have enough energy to get to the fabric store and buy some fabric too, but I'll also have to pretend I'll hem it.
