Quick Notes

I like to make sure that I post really important stuff on here, so we have a record of it, but sometimes, I just see unimportant things that I want to remember and share. Julia had a day off a week or so ago and so the kids decided to play pirate. This is a picture of them in the hats we made out of newspaper. I haven't made these forever and they loved them.
And, I've never been attracted to the cowboy image, but here is one I could EAT!

Lastly, I have to tell you what Brigham said on Sunday. The lesson in Sharing Time was on moms and what they do for us. The teacher asked the kids to name something that their moms do for them. Brigham raised his hand and they didn't have time for everyone so I mouthed to Peter "Find out what Brigham was going to say." He told me afterward that Brigham said, "She wears earings." He explained that the question was what does your mom do for YOU, not just what does your mom do? Brigham looked at him and said, "I know, Mom puts on earings for me." I love him.

And what could be more important than making pirate hats. NOTHING!! Gotta admit, that Brigham is a very smart cookie.

I must say I could also eat that cowboy. I just want another snuggle. The other day I was thinking he's not even going to know who I am. I hope he still jumps into my arms the next time I see him. I'm going to pack candy and very yummy smelling treats in my pockets to insure I get the reaction I want.
Maybe if I wore earrings the kids would have appreciated me more and said nicer things when I asked them all those questions about mom.
