Chatter

This post is not a truly interesting post but I wanted to put in a few more things about Martie so that we had them written down and of course I love to post pictures of my beautiful baby.
So, I thought I would post a few more pictures. The ones below are additional people that came to meet Marti at the hospital. They are of Marti's Grandma Linda, Cousin Stewart, Aunt Hinckley, Aunt Trina, Uncle Clint, Cousins Adam and Amada, Aunt Lisa, and Cousin Joelle.

This is a picture of her with her Great Grandpa Harward who is married to Great Grandma Connie Verniece.
Oh, and I have to record what a proud papa Martie has. He was lying on the bed with Martie and asked me to take his picture. I did and then he explained that it would have been a better picture if he would have closed his eyes and then they would look like they were both asleep. He said he wanted me to retake the picture. I laughed. He said, "No, I'm serious. Take the picture again." I did, and here is a copy of both.
And while we are on sappy things, Peter thought it was awesome that the day we brought Brigham home from the hospital the tulips bloomed and the day we brought Martie home from the hospital, the daffodils came out. He was so impressed, he wanted another picture. It's a good thing we have a big memory on our digital camera. Not to be outdone by nature, his office sent this to our house. (You should have seen the worried look on Peter's face when they came and we didn't know who had sent them.
Two more pictures from the week.
This is Martie's first Sunday dress. She actually went to sacrament the day she came home from the hospital but since it was 15 minutes after we arrived home we didn't put her in a dress. Cute picture isn't it!
And this was our Family Home Evening with Peter's Sister Marti. You can't see Marti in the picture but we had a web-cam set up and we were able to visit with her for over an hour. She met Marti, we met her cat, Brigham showed off his light saber, Marti showed off another cat, Porter brought in his Spiderman chair and she brought in yes, another cat Porter showed his belly button and Marti showed us her feet (she only has 3 cats). It was really fun and I can't wait to do it again. Marti is awesome and was willing to listen to everything each of the kids had to say. Hopefully she will join us again soon for another Family Home Evening.
Boy I can chat a long time about nothing.

I love the little dress on her! I am so glad that someone was able to wear it, since my baby was too big when she was born!!

What beautiful flowers and what a sweet daddy. Hooray for technology that lets people hang out over the internet as though we're in the same room. Hooray for mommies that even though miserable pull themselves out of bed, take pictures, write words and smile through rough spots so that our kids have a few memories that we can share with them.

She's such a doll! How fun to be able to bust out the girly stuff again-give that baby a kiss for me!
