Porter

So, I said I was going to write about Porter a little bit more since I didn't tell you too much about what an awesome kid he is on his birthday.
Words he says:
Mom, Daddy (with a strong accent on the "a"), Hi (to every car and person that passes by), no, yeah, up, shoo, duckie, matman (any super hero), Abby (again a verry long "a"), PoPo (Porter), mine, top (stop, usually accompanied by putting his hand up), baby, tuck (stuck), adun (all done), keen uh (clean up), day do (thank you), p (please), ongo (I want to go) ashey ashey ah dow (ashes, ashes, we all fall down) owie owe (It's an ouchie) dawyee (doggy), didy (kitty) bu bye (usually with a pause between the two words) ucky, I tinky (I'm stinky) on some (I want some), gum.
Funny things he does:
He plays the fridge phonics thing that sings the alphabet but every time he turns it on, he plugs his ears.
He insists on having his hair done but after he has sat long enough for you to spray the water, he is up and running off.
He stands in the middle of the floor and turns circles until he falls down.
He still won't eat any meat (no lunchmeat, not corn dog, nothing).
He runs to give you a hug and kiss when you leave.
If you ask him for a kiss, he will turn his cheek to you so you can have the honor of kissing him.
He copies everyone (Last night at Peter's concert, he was trying to sit the exact same way as the lady next to us with crossed legs and everything.)
He wont wear footed pajamas, overalls, boots, clothes he hasn't worn before, or shoes that aren't his Vans.
He loves playing with his friend Abbey that is about six months older than him. They follow each other around for hours but when he is done, he comes inside closes the door and pushes against it shouting "no." (She can open doors and he doesn't want her to come in. He needs practice on saying, "thanks but I am done for today.)
He won't sit in a diaper that has any poop in it.
He still naps three hours every day if he gets the chance.
He loves to hide under Julia's bed or in my closet.
Everytime he gets out of the car or goes outside he will tell you if it has been raining by saying "weh" and pointing to everything that is wet and every puddle.
He can sit for an hour watching the pictures change on the computer's screen saver. Each time a new one comes up he will tell you to look and then say something you don't understand about it. Personally, I'm pretty sure he is saying, "I remember seeing that from the above view."
He is an awesome boy and of course, every day I think, this is the perfect age. He as been so much fun for all of our family. Brigham has wanted to play with him from the day he came home and Julia has helped care for him since that day as well. I used to find her in the glider rocking him when she heard him start to fuss. She loves to change his diapers and sometimes get him dressed. Peter loves to tickle him and get him screaming when he goes in to give him a kiss goodnight, and I secretly love that he always has to be the closest one to me. If someone is sitting by me or lying by me, he will come and sit in between. He is great at sharing and will always give you whatever he has, unless it is his last bite or his only toy (he isn't dumb). He is so much fun and while I hate to see it go by so fast it is fun to watch him grow so much each day.
