August 28th A Visit with Abi

Abi is the girl in Brigham's class that has cancer.  She had brain cancer and despite two rounds of chemo and radiation, it spread to her spine.  Today I made a "cancer sucks" boquet out of suckers and other candy, picked up some balloons and fund craft kits, and took Brigham and Porter over to visit.  We had a good visit.  The Rhea family will be going to Disney World on September 12th for their "make a wish" and they are taking some time off school to spend time together as a family.  It is a heart breaking story but what makes it even harder is that I don't think they are religious.  I can't imagine what they are going through without knowing they can turn to a Heavenly Father that loves them, and knowing that their daughter will be ok no matter what happens, and that no matter what they will see her again, and that people love her on both sides of the veil.  We pray for them a lot.

We also went to the grand opening of Costco but that was just too crazy to get a picture of.
And there was a board meeting.  I think they are getting rid of 9th grade and possibly all of junior high. I am looking to switch schools.
