Such a special day. Brigham is now a decade old! We started the morning with a short run and then came back to open presents. He got some running socks, a running hat and light, a bowtie, shirt, legos, erector set, and a journal. He was pretty thrilled.

Then we took the kids to the morning session on General Conference. They wouldn't let Porter go in because he wasn't 8 so he stayed with Grandma and the littles but he will get to go next year. It was a great meeting and we had a great time. Afterwards Peter had to go a funeral but we hung out with Grandma for a while and then took Trax home. Brigham also got his birthday gift (too much money for a 10 year old).

While Peter was at the Priesthood session Grandma Linda stopped by to give Brigham the craziest Birthday gift ever. He got an alien in a test tube. We watched it "hatch" from it's cocoon and now over the next couple of weeks we watch it grow, make sure it is flashing read to indicate that it has a healthy heart, water him more if he flashes yellow and less if he flashes green. We'll see how long he lives. :)

When Peter finished the Priesthood session we finally got to go to Chuck-A-Rama for Brigham's Birthday dinner. Everyone loved it. When we got home I got the "medal" I ordered for his bracelet so I gave him his kit to make a para-cord survival bracelet. We did it while we fell asleep in front of a movie. It looks pretty stinking awesome.
