In an effort to stay more on top of blogging, I have decided to go back to my Sister LeShel's Sunday Smiles. Maybe I can handle once a week. Here's is just a sampling of the smiles I had this week.
I smiled when I got to take these two to Porter's Preschool.
At Preschool the kids gave their mom's a decorated can with a flower pen. Inside the can were some papers for them to write "love notes" to their moms on. Porter already wrote me a few. The first two say "I love you" and the third says "Mom is the best." Thanks Porter.
I smiled when I watched Porter talking to Eleanor and explaining that "Your TONGUE goes in you MOUTH and your FINGERS go OUT of your mouth." She was sticking her tongue out and putting her fingers in. Silly girl.
I smiled when I registered my Juli and Brigham for rugby. I can't wait to watch them play. They are on a coed flag team this year and then next year they can both do tackle on separate teams if they are still interested.
I smiled when Porter, Martie, and I celebrated Minnie Mouse's Birthday. Apparently she is six. Porter had been counting down her birthday for about 10 days and finally we had her party. It was very exciting.

I smiled when I laid out all the eggs my chickens have laid since we got them. I blew the yolks out of the first three so that we could save and display them. Peter ate the first ones with Brigham and he said they were delicious.
I smiled when I made my chick feeder out of a peanut butter jar. I hope chickens aren't allergic to peanuts. I guess we will find out.

I smiled wen I got to sit outside with Mary and Lisa while the kids played. It was a beautiful day and it was so nice to just relax and chat for a while. It had been a long day and sometimes a bit of adult time is just what you need to make it through the day. Brigham and I also smiled when he went over Packers ramp and we all smiled wen Ryan, Packer, and Kimball made themselves into General Grievous from Star Wars. Secretly I don't know who that is but I thought it looked cool and Lisa said he had lots of arms and light sabers. Cool.
