Zoo

My friend Treasure told me once that she is morally and ethically opposed to the zoo. She said she couldnt' believe they would keep those huge animals in those cages. I told her that I agree, I think they need to be smaller without so many trees to hide behind; just a concrete room with one wall of plexiglass. I go to the zoo to see the animals, not the scenerey. Anyway, our zoo pass is about to expire so we took the kids to the zoo. Here's a few pictures. You can't see it very well but Brigham was trying to pet/catch the geese and the mommy goose is hissing at him. Apparently the goose just wanted to look at the animals in peace like we did.
This is a family picture. You are supposed to see the elephants in the background but our family is getting pretty big and you know what an elephant looks like anyway. This is the kids with the tiger. What you can't see is that Martie blew out of the diaper she had been in for twenty minutes and she has poop up her back and her front. We took her clothes off after the pictures and let her finish the trip semi nude with a blanket and diaper.
Julia was the only one that had money for the train and she only agreed to buy tickets for herself, Bugs and Porter. So, we let them go on their own. Peter meanwhile, climbed a fence to get this picture. I cropped out the girl looking at him like he was an escaped gorilla. All in all it was a great trip and our favorite part was probably the park where the kids could play and Peter and I could relax in the sun (lucky for you, we were too lazy to take out the camera at that point.)

All I have to say is hopefully the money that you wasted on the passes will help them upgrade the facilities so that the animals won't continue to die off prematurely. Maybe a "cold" habitat for the PENGUINS for goodness sake! You're idea about the plexiglass rooms were great, I am going to invest in one for my children.

BTW you mispelled your daughters name, it sounds like she is Austrian and I hope you at least bought a new shirt at the zoo for Julia since she had to bathe in baby poop. That would have been even more revenue for maybe the cats to get a habitat with a tree in it.

I'm so proud of Julia for sharing her money and buying train passes for her two little bro's. What a cutie. I'm glad the gorilla jumped the fence to get a good picture.

I love the blow out story and I love that I'm past that with Ty!

Sorry, those pictures of Marti just don't look like her -- and they don't look like Peter! However, in person, Marti looks like Peter did. Are you sure those are pictures of Marti and not of some of Gordon or Doug's grandkids?
