This year we were able to go to St. George for Easter again. We had a great time and though Mom couldn't swim, the kids had a blast in the hot tub and at the park. We did an Easter egg hunt on Saturday and Grandma took Brigham's advice and only had money in the eggs this year. In addition to the all money change, we also did it in the dark. The kids each had a flashlight and scoured the yard for money filled eggs. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa, they all got an Easter basket filled with fun toys and more Moon Sand! Yes!! Aunt Katrina helped the kids color Easter eggs and while nobody was interested in eating them, we did have PLENTY of other treats around. Above is a few pictures to help us remember the trip.
The last picture may need some explaining so I will take a quick minute to do that. When we were driving home from St George, we had to stop for a minute and feed Martie. Peter pulled off a ranch exit and got out to take the kids for a walk. Peter does this frequently when we are on trips and I thought I should take a picture because it is pretty cool to me. I want my kids to know that he loved being with them. He didn't stop at a fast food place and send them off when they needed to stretch their legs, he got out of the car, and went with them. He would look at nature with them and point out things that they would otherwise miss. I think that is pretty neat. They are lucky to have such a great dad.
Oh, and the first picture is one of the eggs that Julia made. No, we did not tell her what to put on it and that is one of the reasons I thought it was so neat. She is a very loving little girl.

Easter fun!
My favorite picture is of Peter being the awesome dad he is. I love that they just walked down a trail and hung out. I do hope that Brigham got to pee on a tree while they were on the walk.
What a fun Easter trip! I hope you let them keep the moon sand!
