Julia has now been playing the piano for almost two years and just had her fourth recital. She did very well playing "Spirit of the Stallion." She also got her tropy for completing all the goals over the summer and her certificate for making it into the "One Minute Club." She was pretty excited because her awesome piano teacher, Tricia West, pointed out that Julia was the youngest person to get in the one minute club and it is a hard thing to do as you have to name all the flash cards in less than 60 seconds. Anyway, she is feeling pretty good and we are relishing the fact that she loves it so much. Grandma Julie and Grandpa Terry came to her recital but to save the rest of you from sitting through the whole thing, I am posting a short recording of her playing her piece. Hope you enjoy it.
